Father's Blessing - Hannah
It was Hannah's turn for a Father's Blessing tonight. She will be starting Kindergarten in the morning. I am feeling mixed emotions over the whole thing but more on that tomorrow. Matt gave her such a beautiful blessing. He blessed her to be able to learn and grow as much as possible, to be a leader in her class, to listen to her teacher and obey the class rules, to enjoy herself as she is just starting her school career, to be able to make friends easily and to be friends with everyone, to be a helper in any way that she can and to just do her best. I love that each blessing is so different and special for each child. I will say it again, I am so grateful to have the Priesthood in my home. I am thankful that Matt holds and honors his Priesthood. He is such a good example to our children.

I agree. I love having the Priesthood in our home. She'll sure love that you wrote what he said. I only wish I could remember what my dad said for my back to school blessings. I really only remember two. Before I had my wisdom teeth taken out (I was scared to death) and when I hurt my back in a 4 wheeling accident. And even then, I only remember a few things. :)
I think it is great that you write down what he said so they will remeber it in the future. Thanks for the comments on my blog. It is amazing how much we have in common.
I just realized that Avery will be going to kindergarten next year. Just one year from now. One. I'm ready and I'm not. Oh, dear. It really can't be next year.
Hannah will do great in kindergarten. She's had lots of prep time.
Whitney-
I only remember a few of my Father's blessings too. I wish I could remember more!
