Free Giveaway--On Kristina's Blog

never had okra??? WHAT the heck? neither has kristina p. that's just not right!!! is okra a southern vegetable? don't they sell it at walmart where yall live?
you can;t make gumbo without okra. it's like a necessity to have in the frig.

Really and truely I have never had okra. I watch Paula Deen cook with it all of the time--does that count? I will have to look for okra in the grocery store next time I am there. But--what does it taste like and how do you cook it? I am willing to try new things I just need to know how to cook them!!

I am on vacay with my hubby- and so busy.....I am barely squeaking in a few bloggin minutes while he watches football.
How could I have any chance of winning now?
If you go to Cracker Barrell you can try okra. It is one of the veggies that they offer as a side dish. I love it, it is really good. It is more of a southern thing but you can find it in Utah with all of the frozen veggies but I say just go to Cracker Barrell and let them make if for you. I think food always tastes better if you don't have to be the one cooking it!
