The Uno Girls

After dinner tonight my mom suggested that we all play Uno. The kids were really excited but the dad's--not so much. We played a hand and my dad helped Eden and I helped Hannah. Then Hannah and Eden decided to team up. Those two were HILARIOUS!! They kept giggling and strategizing and were just so funny. They kept getting all of the Draw Two and Draw Four cards and laying them on the mom's. They really had the best cards but they just couldn't win a hand! The funny thing is--they really didn't care. They were having so much fun and kept wanting to play hand after hand. I am sure that a rematch is already on for next Sunday.
I am so glad that Hannah has Eden. They used to fight like no other but now they are like best friends. What better best friend than a cousin!? Hopefully Olivia and Brooklyn will get to be the same way when they are a little older--they still tend to fight and not want to share but a lot of it is just the age. Poor Zachary--he has no cousins his age. Matter of fact out of the 13 cousins that he has only 3 are boys and 1 is starting college this year, the next one is in High School and the third one is 5. Oh well--what do you do? Good thing he has all of his bff's!!

Both of those girls are adorable. It reminds me of one of my cousins and I. We are 2 months apart and were inseparable whenever we were together (she grew up in OR.. me in WA). It was so much fun to have her and we fought until we were around 4, I believe. There's some pretty funny video's. :)

I can't wait to have entertaining children! (Or any for that matter..) (Oh, I make comments all the time about wanting babies, in case you haven't noticed.. lol. But Jaren and I have worked out a plan.. I just need to be patient.. which I am not.)

It is hard to be patient! Especially when you want it so bad! I am not patient AT ALL! I have to pray everyday/night for patience and still I struggle.

I would love to have another one but my body is falling apart--which means I will be having surgery soon--and so it is just not in the cards for me. )0:

We have a very small extended family, and I only have 4 cousins, and 3 of them are weird.

That's hard! I only have 1 brother and he has 2 girls and I am pretty sure that will be it for them. I kind of have to be done (thanks a lot stupid body).

On my husbands side he has 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. That means that most of my nieces and nephews are older than my kids (all but 5). His brother has yet to have children but if and when he does mine will be older. Kind of strange.

I feel lucky that my kids have cousins around the same age. The family kind of took turns. We had one, then my brother, then us, then Ryan's brother, then my brother, then us, then Ryan's brother, then my brother, then us. (Wasn't my list so helpful.) We're done, so it's up to the rest of them now. We have many more coming. As you know, Heather is pregnant and due in March and Sheena is now and due in May. Emily is green, green, green with envy, but I'm sure she will be pregnant soon enough.

Hooray for Sheena! That is so awesome! I am so happy for her!

I wish we were closer to the Butterfly's cousin. The girls are so sweet in your pictures and sound like they had a blast. I never had cousins my age and it would have been so wonderful to have that relationship. We only see my niece once a year.
