I wanted to give a shout out to Rebecca for turning me on to http://simplifysupper.com. It is this amazing website that helps you plan menus. You can customize the recipes to what your family likes and....once you set up your recipes either for 1 week, 2 weeks or 1 month--it generates a shopping list! It is so easy to do! I will actually be trying one of the recipes tonight and another 2 next week. They are fast, easy recipes that you can do for inexpensive. I hope you all check this website out. It is really worth your time.
Another reason I decided to do this post is for my new blog stalked friend Torina. She has a link on her blog for another dinner helper called http://hillbillyhousewife.com/index1.htm which is designed to help you plan a menu for your family on a budget. Good stuff--check it out too.

I think I'm dinner handicapped. Everytime I try to use on of these dang websites, I get so confused!!
I tried the recipe for: Mini BBQ Meatloaves tonight and it was a hit with everyone.
When you mix everything it is totally like mush and looks disgusting--but when it is cooked it is YUMMY!
jillene, I am going to try the easy lasagna,, thanks for the tip!!
What a neat idea. I'm the only actual food eater in this house, but I can see how great that would be. I will be passing this on and hopefully some day get to use it myself.
Next week I am going to try the Three Cheese Manacotti and the Baked Chicken with Dill. I'll let you all know how they are!
I need to try this. I'm all about things that make dinner time easier.
