I can't WAIT for Monday! School starts back up on Monday. Any other Monday I would typically hate--but not this coming one! My kids are fighting all the time and I can't stand it anymore! I need for them to have the structure that school gives. They keep claiming that they are bored. Ummm....we have a trampoline, they each have a bike, we have a Wii, we have a PS2, we have Guitar Hero, we have Rock Band, we have TONS of toys, we have a lot of DVD's, etc., etc. I don't understand how they can be so bored. I never had any of that stuff when I was a kid--we always just played outside. Go figure. Maybe if I take it all away they won't be bored anymore!

Is It Monday Yet?

I hate that... I'm bored. I just give out cleaning duties when I hear that one now!! My kids are so excited for school but give them a few weeks and they will be "bored" with school!!
I can't believe it's back to school time already!
I remember the dark ages when all we had was ourselves, maybe a sibling and some friends, and our imagination. Somehow, we survived. I remember having really good times. My kids have all of the things you mentioned, but it never seems to be enough. They still get bored at least 25 times a day. The world is too fast paced now. Kids need constant action.
I agree with you, I hate hearing how bored they are, I tell them to clean their rooms but then I have to stand over them and make sure it is done and I have my own chores to do...
We need to use your CRICKET for cutting we will probably do so tomarrow
