Obsessed

I have come to the conclusion that Olivia is obsessed with wet wipes. She uses them for everything. She wipes her face, hands, her belly, the kitchen table, the hard wood floor in the living room, her baby dolls, her barbies, her brother, her sister, and on and on. I don't know what the novelty is. Maybe she has OCD and needs everything to be clean. I just don't know. All I can say is that she always wants to have a wet wipe in her hands and that means more trips to the store for me. Uuuugggghhhh--I hate going to the store!

She is also obsessed with the finger nail clippers. I don't get this one either. She sneaks to the counter where I keep them and in her ever so quietness (NOT) she will grab them, open them up and try to cut her own finger nails but I am way to smart (not really--she is just not sneaky or quiet enough to get away with it) and I get them away from her before she causes herself any damage. She also tries to cut her dad's toe nails which I find extremely humorous. It totally freaks him out--he tries to let her pretend but the minute she opens them up he is grabbing them out of her hands faster than he can say his own name. She has never tried to cut mine--maybe that is because my feet are so dry, cracked and nasty that they scare the pants off of her--darn!!

Well, this is probably a good indication that she won't be a slob who never likes to shower, when she grows up. Good for her!

I think this is a great OCD habit! Just say, "Oh look, you are such a good cleaning girl!" and point to things that need a good wipe down. I wish I had one of those around. Id say, "You know what would be fun?! If you showed me how well you can wipe those baseboard's! Yes, all over the house!" I can't wait to have kids. haha

And I love new friends! Your linked on my blog as well. I'm obsessed with this thing.

I am obsessed with this thing too. I am just glad that I am not the only one. At first, before I dared to leave a comment, I felt like a voyer. (0:

How precious. I have a baby wipe lover too. She does NOT love nail clippers though...has teeth for that job! Then again, she use to just lick her hands and wash herself so the baby wipes were a step up for her. So glad your little ones OCD's are working for her!

Welcome, Welcome Jo! I am so glad you checked my blog out.

Thank you for saying she is cute--I tend to think I have the cutedt kids EVER--I'm not biased or anything. (0:

O.k. I meant the cutest not cutedt. Me and my spelling errors--I need spell check in the comment department--come on blogger!

Oh--Holly, my son bites his finger nails too--but only certain ones and my other daughter Hannah is a picker--she picks and rips and pulls her finger and toe nails off so I never have to cut hers--EVER!!

My husband is a biter/picker. (I just read that sentence out of context and laughed out loud... I really just LOLed) It drives me crazy! He just sits and gnaws and gnaws on those fingers.

My daughter Hannah is the same way. She doesn't bite but she picks and picks--ALL OF THE TIME! I am always telling her that she is going to eventually pick them off completely but she just ignores me.

I read the sentence out of context too and LOLed as well!

Send her on over to my house. I have plenty she can wipe down.
