Castle Creek Inn

We had such a fabulous time on our little getaway! The Castle Creek Inn is gorgeous! I would HIGHLY recommend it to everyone. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room--as you can see from the pictures it was beautiful and romantic. When we checked in the girl showed us the dining room. She proceeded to open all of the cupboards to reveal movies and games that you can use. Then she opened the fridge and it was stalked with every kind of soda pop and water. In the wine rack were bottles of Sparkling Cider and Lemonade. They also had homemade goodies, trail mix and chocolate raspberry truffles. Everything was complimentary! Not to mention you could have all you wanted! What a deal! Matt, being the Sparkling Cider lover that he is, even brought a bottle home (in his suitcase--shame on him (0: ). We ate dinner at Outback Steakhouse--YUMMY!! And then later on that night we went out again and ended up at Scoopology. It is this amazing ice cream place that my mom told me about. They have the MOST DELICIOUS thing called a Cookie Crumble. They make homemade cookies--all kinds and varieties. You choose an ice cream flavor and then they warm the cookie up and crumble it on top of the ice cream--OH MY!!

We went down for breakfast this morning and first they brought out a bowl of fresh peaches with whipped cream and cinnamon on top and a piece of lemon bread. Then they brought out a huge plate with hash browns and a sausage patty and apple pecan stuffed french toast. It was YUM-A-LICIOUS! The room was $165.00 for a weeknight and then it is $20.00 more on the weekend. It is a great place to celebrate or just to get away!

Oh I am so happy for you! I knew just by looking at the rooms that you were going to love it! I might have to go there next year and do all of the fun eating along with it. It sounds so fun! I don't get to feel like a princess nearly enough for my taste!

That looks great! The problem I have with a lot of these bed and breakfast type place is that they are super frilly and super Victorian, and they look like flowers had a vomiting attack all over everything. Creeps me out. This looks nice.

And I'm not joking when I say this is about 3 blocks away from my condo.

We stayed at the Armstrong Mansion on our 3rd or 4th Anniversary and it was JUST LIKE THAT!! I wanted to throw up it was so frilly and nasty. This room was just right.

If I and Jon ever went to one of those places, I know that I would never have time to pick up a camera and take pictures. (If you know what I mean!!!! hehe)

It looks like a really nice place, and sounds like you guys had a great time. Oh and by the way Jon wants to know if you were still yelling at Matt before you left. hehe
