School Shopping and Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

So we started school shopping today. I was afraid to do so because it can get so expensive. We ended up at Old Navy...can I just say that I LOVE OLD NAVY?! They are having a 40% off sale on all kids clothing. So all of my friends that have kiddos that can wear size 4 and up..go check it out!! For Zach I got: 1 pair of Cargo shorts and 2 shirts. For Hannah I got: 1 pair of capris and 2 shirts. And for kicks and giggles (and because she was FREAKING out) I got Olivia a shirt. When she went to total it out I was a little afraid because remember, my mind is not the sharpest tool in the shed and I forgot about the 40% off, but when she told me the total was $48.43 I almost crapped my pants with joy!! What a bargain!!

I am doing this as a double post--first time for everything right?! Today because the kids cleaned both their rooms and the toy room Matt told them we could get a new game for the Wii. The game they picked is Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. As video games go...I really suck. I am not coordinated enough. Well guess what ladies and gentleman...I ROCK THIS GAME!! It is so much fun and I am good at it! Who would of thunk? (Not me!)

Jillene, I am glad that you were able to pull off a clean pants exit after the register! Nice!

As for the video games, I love them! I have to say that I have to really get used to them. I am pretty good at Mario Strikers and MarioKart (even the one for wii). We will have to check out Rayman.

You really need to check out Rayman!! It is so much fun!! Even Hannah (who is almost 6) loves it and can play the games pretty well. I think that I have found my video game system of choice--the Wii. Why I didn't buy one sooner, I'll never know--oh wait, I wanted to buy one at Christmas time but there were none to be found! (0:

I just spent almost $100 at Old Navy, for myself. I finally broke down and applied for an Old Navy card. I love that it can be used at The Gap, and my favorite store, Banana Republic. Don't tell my husband. ;)
