This is what I will be dealing with for the next couple of weeks! I decided it was time to take the binki (she calls it a "de de") away from Olivia. I am going to have compassion on my mom who will be taking my kids overnight on Thursday--Olivia has never had a sleepover--I'm a little worried. But after the weekend is over--say goodbye to the "de de". She only has it for nap time and bed time so I am assuming that nap time will be a thing of the past as soon as I take it away--woe is me!Next--I am starting to potty train Olivia this week. I took her to the store today and let her choose her own big girl undies. She chose Minnie Mouse. Then I let her chose a treat for after she potty's. She chose M&M's. She has yet to go in the toilet. I have been setting a timer for every hour and then I put her on the potty--but nothing so far. I am sure that now she is down for a nap she will let it all loose.
This next couple of weeks are going to be--well--my own little hell (pardon the french). Wish me luck (I'm going to need it)!!

Potty training is truly of the devil. I HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE it. If it's not Satan's way of having a good laugh, then it must be some sort of karmic retribution. I must have done something really terrible to have to potty train my kids. Good luck with Olivia. I hope that there aren't too many headaches.
So here's a little update--she got up from her nap dry--oh yeah!
I put her on the toilet and left her there for about 15 minutes--nothing. I put the pull-up back on her, closed the bathroom door and in that tiny amount of time she had peed in the pull-up.
Oh man--I think that I have my work cut out with her!!
thanks for the comment. I do come to the activity if that is what you like and provide all of the supplies, some people would rather me not, so then I don't whatever you prefer. I do provide everything, or I can only provide the vinyl. I do whatever you want me to do. My prices vary depending on the product, is their certain items you are interested in?

Good luck on the potty training, I was so very lucky with zach, he just decided he wanted to go potty like daddy when he was 2 1/2. and the binky went to the binky fairy just before he turned 3.
