Discovery Gateway

Today we got to go to Discovery Gateway (for those of you who don't know it used to be called the Children's Museum)--oh yeah, it was free thanks to Kennecott and my father-in-law working there. It opened at 10:00 a.m. and again I wanted to be there at 10:00--did I make it--anyone, anyone--NOPE!! We got there at around 10:30--not too bad. Zach is the only one that had been there before (when he was 4). I was excited to see how it has changed since moving. It was a lot of fun!! The girls LOVED the play/imagination area where there was a house that had a mailbox with mail in it, a living room with a couch and pretend tv, and the fav--a kitchen that had a sink, stove, fridge and table that were fully equip with everything they needed to play house. Zach loved the Story Center where they had a puppet theater and he was able to put on some really great plays! We really had a great time. I think that the best part was spending time together as a family!
