Father's Blessing - Zachary
I am so thankful to have the Priesthood in my home. Last night, before Zachary went to bed, Matt gave him a Father's Blessing. It never ceases to amaze me how different and specific and wonderful blessings are. Matt blessed Zach that he would be successful in 4th grade, that he would get along with his teacher, that he would follow the rules, that he would listen to his teacher, that he would be a leader and a good friend, that he would be nice to everyone and that he would always be willing to help. It really was a beautiful blessing. I am forever grateful that Matt holds and honors his Priesthood and is always willing and able to give blessings when anyone needs them.

We always had priesthood blessings too. They are an amazing source of comfort before school. I hope he has a good year!
We did the same thing and I agree with you 100%, it is so awesome to be married to someone who can give my children a father's blessing. I think I was gyped as a kid because I didn't have this now that I see how cool it is! At least I have it now and my kids get it.
