Super Saturday

Today was our Relief Society Super Saturday. If you don't know what that is-- it is a day filled with crafts, quilts, fun and lunch. We found this awesome lady last year that does vinyl lettering and cute wood crafts and we invited her back again this year. We picked out 8 different crafts and let the sisters order what they wanted. I was feeling really crafty this year because I chose 6 things to do. Now--I should have factored in that I had to set up, get the lunch ready to go and clean up. Kind of forgot about that stuff when I placed my order. Oh well--such is life. Thanks to some much needed help from the vinyl lettering lady-Jana, I was able to get everything completed. I did do all of my own painting--which is a struggle for me. Go me!!

It ended up turning out really well and was a nice day. Much thanks to my mom, Sharon, Aimee and Mindy for all of their help! I couldn't have done it without you (and they're not even in my ward)! I look forward to next year!
*The projects are as follows: 1-Framed wreath 2-BE Attitudes 3-Long Magnet Board--bottom says Remember these Moments and magnets say Live Laugh Love
4-Magnet Board for Zach's room 5-Magnet Board for Hannah's room 6-Magnet Board for Olivia's room.*

Those are all really cute ideas!

It's funny, because I don't consider myself a craft person, but there are certain activities I really enjoy doing. Like I've said before, if it involves throwing a party, and getting cute little invitations and prizes, etc., I'm all over that. Scrapbooking? Not so much.

But I love those magnet boards, especially the pirate one.

I wish my ward, excuse me, branch now, did Super Saturdays. I work until 8 PM during the week, so I never go to anything.

Those are really neat. I have no talent in the crafty area so I'm always amazed at what people can do. Loved your scrapbook pages too. I spent awhile today visiting your blog history. Thanks for coming over and visiting me too!

I love them all and you say I am talented!! Not!! You are!! Where did you get the magnet boards? I think I need to tell Gaelynn so they can do those.

I can't believe you got everything finished. I got my "tupou" done and that's about it. Tiana did get my boards done.... but I still have alot to do. Oh geez, I don't know why I do that to myself, I always order way too much, and then I NEVER get to finish them. GRRRRRR!!

Shauna-
I will give you the name and number of the lady that we go through. She is amazing! Maybe I'll pop on over today and give you the info.

Bobie-
Let's just plan a day and I will help you finish everything. We can go and get the paint colors you want (they are pretty cheap) and then we can paint and paint until our little hearts are content (or until everything is done). Alos--we found your other words for the long magnet board. They were on the floor under some stuff.

It really was a fun day. I've got Christmas done for my sister and her family. Yay! Thanks for all your hard work, Jillene...it doesn't go unnoticed!

I really appreciate that Rebecca! I am glad that you had a good day and got some Christmas presents made!

wow,, I am impressed!! I love the heart in the frame, just beautiful!! I wish I had just a little of your talent..

Oh--I promise that I have no talent! The lady (Jana) that comes has everything all ready for you. All I had to do was paint. She's the amazing one--not me!

I'm proud to say that I actually finished everything that I ordered. I thought about saving the magnet boards for Christmas, but decided to just give them to them now.

I thought the same thing about the magnet boards but Zach came out and helped me carry everything in so there went that plan.
