When It Rains, It Pours

The engine light has been on in our car for a while now. We finally took it in to a car mechanic (thank goodness for great friends that have connections! [:). Therefore we needed to rely on the Bronco for transportation. Well, low and behold it wouldn't start on Friday. I had to go and borrow a car from my mom and dad (by the way--thank you so much!!). Matt finally got the Bronco in working order and we were able to make it to our family party Saturday. Everything was looking o.k. Well when it rains it pours because now the Bronco is leaking either oil or grease. Matt got underneath it today and cannot figure out where it is leaking from. He says that it too will need a mechanic. It's a good thing that Matt rides his bike to work because as of right now we have no car. I am just really thankful for great family and friends who I know will take me anywhere I need to go. Hopefully my car will be fixed tomorrow but there are no guarantees (and with my luck--it will probably take a long time).

So here's the silver lining: Think of all the money you're saving in gas! :0)

Aren't cars so much fun? I'm sorry that they're both giving you trouble at the same time. I hope that they're not terribly expensive to fix.

I've been there and done that. There has been times when our cars have broken down or they need to be worked on. It is not fun. Call me if you need a ride anywhere.
