Hannah is trying to grow her bangs out. The funny thing is...she calls them "banks". I keep telling her bangs but she is not hearing how I'm saying it. It's funny when she says, "Mom, my banks are in my eyes", or "Can you put a barette in these banks?". I want to respond with, "I'm sorry the Banks are in your eyes but how did they get in there?" and "I don't think I can put a barette in the Banks--it wont fit." She would NEVER get it--see we have friends with Banks as their last name and as funny as I would think it is she would be dumbfounded. I am not so thrilled at the process of growing bangs out and I am sure that by the time they are grown out I will need mental help, but it is what she wants and I think she will look cute with no "banks"!
