Sweet Music to My Ears

For the past few weeks I have been going into Primary to help out with the younger classes that don't have teachers yet. I can only stay for the first hour because of my calling in the Relief Society but I hope that I am of some help. I really love being in there with the children!! They are such sweet little spirits!! I love the beautiful songs that they sing in their sweet little voices. I love the funny and oh so serious answers that they give to questions. I love the sweet smiling faces that light up when you walk into the room or when you sit down next to them. But most of all, I love the beautiful Spirit that I feel when I am in there. I wish that everyone could feel that Spirit. I wish that everyone was jumping up and down saying, "Pick me! Pick me!" to be in Primary. It is probably the most spiritual place to be outside of Sacrament Meeting (in my opinion) because the children are so innocent and sweet and because of that I think that the Spirit is so strong in Primary. When I hear those sweet little children sing the beautiful Primary songs I can't help but feel overwhelmed with the Spirit--so much so that I end up in tears. So to all of you who dread a Primary calling--TRY IT!! YOU'LL LOVE IT!!

Thank you for being there. I wish all the dummies out there would come into primary and see what it really is like. They would never whine about a primary calling again.
