Locks of Love

Hannah has been begging me for 2 months to let her cut her hair short. I finally caved in today and called Kristen. She was able to cut it today so we went over after Liv woke up from her nap. She measured her length and she had 10" so we cut it off into a ponytail (I cried like a baby) so that we can donate it to Locks of Love. Hannah didn't know what Locks of Love was so when we got home I pulled it up on the Internet and explained it to her. When she saw the little girls with no hair and I told her that her hair will help to make them a cute wig she started crying. I was so touched by her genuine, sweet and raw emotions! She is such a tender heart so of course I was crying too. I love my little Hannah! She looks so grown up now!! I didn't think I would like her with short hair but low and behold I LOVE IT!!

*As a side note--I decided to cut my hair off too! I didn't have enough to donate but I love the cut!! Thanks a bunch Kristen--you're the BEST!!

I know that I saw it right away because I cut it, but I love it in the pictures because you were able to style it. I think she looks older, Maybe we shouldn't have done a swoop bang on a 5 year old-she is a mini teenager.
