Fudge

I am on a roll today posting recipes so I thought I would include my fudge recipe. This one's for you Christa (do you get it?). It is for everyone else too I just happen to know that Christa LOVES fudge.

Fudge
1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
2 1/2 (8 oz.) bars Hershey's milk chocolate, broken up into chunks
1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butter, cut into chunks
4 cups sugar
1 can evaporated milk
2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
chopped nuts to taste (or you can leave them out)
2 tsp. vanilla

Freeze the 1 1/2 cups marshmallows in a plastic baggie. Put broken Hershey bar, chocolate chips and butter in a large bowl. Set aside. In a large saucepan mix sugar, evaporated milk and 2 1/2 cups marshmallows. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Boil for 6 minutes (stirring constantly). Pour over chocolate mixture. Stir by hand until all of the chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in frozen marshmallows, nuts and vanilla. Pour out onto large cookie sheet. Cover and refrigerate until set. *Note: You can also put outside in your garage or if you have a really cool/cold room in your house you can put it in there. Just make sure it is cold enough so the fudge sets up.
