Our elementary school gives out an award to 2 children from each class every month. Hannah was chosen from her class to receive the Jaguar of the Month. We went to the assembly yesterday where she was presented her award by the Principal. Her teacher gave her the award for outstanding achievement in kindness to others. We are very proud parents--tear!! *FYI-the kindness gene comes from their dad. Thank goodness that opposites attract right?!?!

That's Great!!!! She's in 1st grade, right? My 1st grader is loving school. Actually his teacher's name was going to be Mrs. Cox. Isn't that funny? I started home schooling him but he so missed school. So back he went but was assigned to a different teacher.

That's a big deal she got that award. I never got one.... But every single assembly when they would announce who it was I always hoped... and then I was severely disappointed. So, I'm proud of her too!

It is a big deal--the whole award thing. She has stage fright (even when she is just in front of me and her dad) so I was really proud of her for going up in front of the whole assembly!!
