Then we moved everything out of the kitchen and I swept all of the crap up with my awesome Swiffer Sweeper--let me just tell you that my kids have NO concept of what a table or plate are for. The floor under the kitchen table was DISGUSTING!! Anyway--then I mopped the floor which took very little time thanks to my AWESOME tile!!
Then I had some really stuck on grease or something on the stove that I just couldn't get off. So I got out my trusty Magic Eraser and it came off with ease. I also had to remove some pink crayon off of a wall (courtesy of Olivia) and it was off lickety split!!
The kids had to clean their rooms--Hannah threw the BIGGEST fit but what's new?! Zachary went downstairs and had his room done in no time. He vacuumed it and then came upstairs and asked--YES, I SAID ASKED--to vacuum the downstairs hallway and all of the stairs. What a great kid--oh yeah, he did all of that and Hannah still wasn't done (just a side note--her room was NOT that messy). My house looks SO nice. I wonder how long it will last. Any bets? I am glad that it is all done and that I didn't have to do it alone. But what I am most grateful for is that I don't have to do it tomorrow because it is my birthday. Clean house=Happy Birthday (but don't think that means I still don't want my presents--oh yeah--I am picking those myself so I am good to go)!!*Side Note--I just had to post pictues of the Swiffer Wet Jet, Orange Glo, Swiffer Sweeper and Magic Eraser becuse they are 4 things that I CANNOT live without!! They make my life SO much eaiser!!*

My guess on how long it stays clean? About 30 minutes. That's how it works at our house.
I HATE cleaning day. But it is so rewarding when its all over....Way to be for tackling it all.
I usually clean the house when everyone is asleep so I can enjoy it longer. Sometimes I think we live in a barn. Hope it lasts at least a little while!

You HAVE to get a Swiffer. I recommend getting the Sweeper and the Wet Jet. They work wonders for the hardwood!!

My diningroom floor is always dirty! I think the boys have secret food fights! I mean really??? REALLY? How does all that food get under there?! Now I know where my grocery money goes!

I always think the same thing when doing that deep cleaning for a party thing. "This is just going to be totally trashed twelve seconds after people arrive."
But it still feels SO good to get it done.

We have every swiffer product available. My 8 year old son loves to clean, and he buys these things with his own money. For Christmas he wants a Shark steam cleaner.

I love those things too! And it is nice, ever once in awhile to get things super clean because it doesn't happen offen and it doesn't stay for long.
