I am tired of the fighting. The girls have been at each other all week. If it's not one thing it's another. They fight over Barbie's, they fight over kitchen utensils, they fight over TV shows, they fight over bath time, they fight over who gets to sit in which chair at the dinner table, they fight over EVERYTHING lately!! UGH!! I am at my wits end. I keep telling them that I am going to sell them to the Circus and then they freak out and promise to be good--and that lasts for about 10 minutes. Time to kiss and make up girls or you are going to send mommy to the Funny Farm!!
Speaking of kisses--I kissed Olivia's whole face a few minutes ago and do you know what she did? SHE WIPED THEM ALL OFF!! Now I know how my mom felt when I did that to her--HEART BROKEN!! Sorry mom.

Ha! Your title had me thinking politics--you are sneaky!
This shall be your new mantra: "It's only a phase. It's only a phase." My kids are just starting this phase, and I'm pretty sure it will last 10 or 15 years. But - it is only a phase.
I'm sorry! I hope you guys have a better day.
Kelly-
No politics here! There is already a heated discussion between to of my friends over politics and I am just not willing to go there.
I swear it was you that told me what your mom use to do. Make you guys hug and since "love one another". It works.
I hate when they wipe off my kisses, it makes me sooo sad.
My blog is a no politics zone either! I just don't want to go there.
Make them sit next to each other, hugging, and they can't move. Fun!
Kristina-
I am glad that I'm not the only one. Yo Gabba Gabba was enough drama for this blog!!
I gave birth to 9 pounds of water and two years later 8 pounds of oil.
They rarely get along.... I hear they will adore each other in their 30's but I don't know if I can wait 20 years LOL
good luck!
i say buy them both a pair of those pink boxing gloves and let them have at it! ;)
My little sister and I were JUST like this.
Now we get along great! Only took us 16 years. :D
Oh I feel ya, I LITERALLY had to pull my boys apart at the bus stop yesterday with other parents onlooking. OMG how embarrassing. FOR THEM! ROFL
I swear everything in my house is a race!Hopefully next week will be better!
The woes of being a mother! I love the pink gloves, thats a cool picture.
Well, my award winning parenting senses tell me to say "fine, you wanna fight? HAVE AT IT GIRLS and no stopping until there's blood"...on the other hand, if they take you up on it and actually start fighting, I have no suggestions as to what to tell the ER docs.(I actually told Gabe and Lily to go ahead and duke it out last night, I sat front and center ( shoulda popped some popcorn!) and said "ding-ding-ding round one!". They refused to hit each other" I asked why they didn't want to hit each other while I was watching, they couldn't answer that question.
ignore the punctuation up there, I don't feel good.
I have no words of wisdom for you...my sisters and I didn't get along until we all lived far enough away from each other. We can still only handle each other in very small blocks of time (4 days max!)
I get along with my brothers great...but I have always gotten along with guys better.
Hopefully it is just a phase!
looks like you have plenty advice. But I have to add my two cents. your kids are to little to do this but I think its a great idea. Make them walk around the block holding hands the entire time. Tell them that the neighbors will be watching to see if they let go. I can't remember were I heard this one. (watch its from conference or something) Anyways you make them do that a couple times they will stop. Maybe you could figure out a way to make it fit for their age.
I have so many type-os sorry!
Chocolate always makes things better :) Hope you have a very Happy Halloween!!!
The kiss wiping thing? Yeah, I use to do it to my mom too. First time I faced it.... broke my heart too. I feel for ya.
Does your hubby wipe them off to?
It's a toss up which one is worse:)
i fought with my brother EVERY SINGLE DAY + drove my mom insane! we didn't learn to like eachother until we lived in different states. then all of a sudden we became best friends. :)
That's funny that you tell them that you'll send them to the circus and they freak out about it. I'm going to try that one. Thanks, I let you know if it works for me!
It's like you are my mother right now...saying that about me and Kat and Sam...like 2 days ago...WHAT?! I am telling you ,if you fight like cats and dogs...okay there are gonna be screams and crying yes, but you will be close sisters....look at me and the monsters...errr...sisters!! LOL, love 'em!Could kill 'em....but only SOMETIMES!!
Shhh...Jillene this is on the DL...we watched The Little Vampire tonight. I LOVE that movie...it's mine. Yeah it's Jonathon Lipnicki and a lil kids movie but I love it...now shhhh don't tell! IS TRE embarassing....what now? This is not private? WHATTTTT?!!!
Your blog is so cute!! Sorry about having to deal with your girls fighting. It'll end one day. :)
I hear ya, sista! There always seems to be phases when at least two of the kids are constantly at each other's throats. Hope it's over soon!
my kids fight like there is no end! sometimes I just have to shut myself in my room and blog!
When my "baby" started doing this I said to him, "You'd better be rubbin' those kisses in instead of off!" To which he replied, "Of course, MOM!"
Sally-
I LOVE that!! That is what I am going to say from now on!!
you know what my dad did when we started fighting over the TV channels? he picked up the Tv and threw it out the back door. we didn;t have a TV for a few years after that.
