For You My Friend

Sorry about posting twice in one day but I really needed to post about this. I heard from my mom today that a very good friend of mine passed away yesterday. She was such a beautiful person and I will miss her dearly. Her name is Jenee and I have pretty much known her all of my life. She had a very rare blood disease which required a bone marrow transplant. She had to endure Chemo before the transplant and then the transplant itself. After the transplant she had several heart attacks and they just couldn't figure out why. She had a do not resuscitate order and so she was able to return to her Heavenly Father yesterday.

I have no doubts that she was needed for a mission on the other side. She is an amazing missionary!! I am sure she was needed to help the many lost sheep. She was always happy and smiling. She was a hugger and she knew that I hate to be hugged but she would do it anyways. I will miss those giant, squeezy bear hugs.

She never married in this life but she was still very happy. She came to both my wedding and my sealing. She made it possible at our sealing to see the Holiest of the Holies room. We were able to touch the door and feel the most powerful Spirit. She made us a beautiful cross-stitched picture when we were sealed in the Temple that hangs in my bedroom--I will forever treasure it. She made me a beautiful baby blanket for each of the 3 babies that I had. She always told me that she loved me--and I truly love her!!

On now to your mission dear friend but please know that you are loved and will be missed terribly. Thank you for all that you have done for me personally in my life. You are an amazing example of Christ-like love that I will never forget. I love you Jenee and I look forward to a happy reuinion in Heaven one day!!
*Jenee has a younger sister Mary that is in need of a liver transplant. They haven't been able to give her one because she keeps getting blood clots and now they are afraid that she has the same blood disease. I know you don't know her but prayers would be appreciated--I wouldn't want their mother to lose another child. Thank you.

What in the world is the holiest of holies room?? I was recently sealed in the SLC temple and I have never heard of that.

Jillene said...

It is a room that is only for the Prophet. I also think his counselors can go in and maybe the 12 apostles (not really sure about that one).
