Scrapbook Page Exchanges

I am in 2 different page exchange groups. The concept of a page exchange is this: You have 12 people in the group. There is a different theme each time (we meet every 3 months). Each person makes 12 - 2 page layouts. You keep one for yourself and then exchange the other 11 with the other group members. It is a really good concept because (if you are anything like me) all of your pages tend to look the same. I started one group with my friend Kristen and then joined another group that was started by my friend Annette.

I tend to wait and procrastinate doing the pages until the week before the exchange. That just doesn't work for me anymore. It makes me irritable, ornery, and mean. I have turned over a new leaf. My next exchange is May 30th and I have had those pages done since April 18th. My exchange after that is July 17th and I finished those pages on Tuesday (May 6th). The next exchange after that is August 14th and I went out today and bought all of the paper and embellishments that I need to make the layouts. I intend to get these done the first of next week (Monday or Tuesday). I am soooo proud of myself. It is such a relief knowing that they are done--and who knows, maybe I will get a bug up my butt and everyone will get 2 layouts from me instead of one. Go Jillene!! You Rock!!
