Last night was our annual Angel Auction for the Relief Society and the Young Women. We had 108 items donated to auction off. It was a HUGE success! I was a bit frazzled (to say the least) because my Enrichment leader was not feeling well, one of the committee members showed up REALLY late and the other one didn't show up at all. That means it was all left up to me. Good thing the Bishop came and set up all of the tables and chairs or I would have been (pardon the language) screwed! It was a lot of work (with little to no help) but it was worth it in the end. Everyone, for the most part, got the things they wanted and I am pretty sure everyone left happy. We had a great turn out with even some inactives. I was able to walk away with some free yard work, someone to sweep and mop my kitchen floor and the best....Tina's homemade Chicken Noodle Soup.
It was a great night!!

I'm sorry about your MIA committee. I wish I would have known. We could have come earlier to help out. I'm glad it all turned out good in the end. All of your hard work showed and paid off.
You did a great job!! Maybe next time, you need to be more hands off. Just let it fail! That sometimes is the only way people learn to step up the plate themselves. Wish I could have been more help.
