Sunday Fun

As usual we went to my parents house for dinner yesterday. It is SOOO nice that they have us to dinner every Sunday. This week we had a really nice dinner and then the kids went outside to play. My mom told me that she had some games planned for the kids that involved water balloons. I knew INSTANTLY that the kids were going to be thrilled! I started filling up balloons and when the kids realized what I was doing they were so excited. We couldn't get them filled up fast enough!! We each lined up (kids on one side and parents/grandparents on the other) and threw the balloons to each other trying not to pop them. The kids did that for a minute but then the decided that it was much funner to throw them directly at their parents. In the end we all were wet but had a GREAT time!! I am so thankful that my kids have such great grandparents! It was something I missed as a child (with the exception of my Grandma Schow) I really didn't have grandma's and grandpa's like my kids do. My mom's parents passed away when I was 2 and 5 so I don't remember them at all. I know that I will meet them again one day and I am excited for that. How thankful I am for eternal families and for a loving Heavenly Father who has made it possible for my family to be together forever!!
