Today Zach and Hannah were able to participate in the Children's Parade. They were SO excited. Our Stake was picked to make a float and have the children walk in the parade. I will have to say that Christa and Emily did an excellent job!! The float looked great and the kids had so much fun. When I picked them up after they were finished I asked them how it was and Zach's reply was, "Great, except for all that walking." I thought that was funny. He then told us that he was the entertainer for the crowd. He would do silly tricks and dances to entertain the people and then run to catch up with his group. What a ham!! Hannah just said, "It was fun. I walked by Sammy." The Days of 47 committee then had a free carnival for the kids. We went over and let the kids go on the bounce castles, slides and courses. They really had a good time. We finished off by getting each of them a balloon. Zach had his made into a sword. Hannah had hers made into a flower hat. Olivia had hers made into a teddy bear holding a heart. I am really glad that my kids were able to have this experience and I hope that it is something they will always remember.
*Side Note--This is my 100th post! I am really proud of myself for keeping this going (I never thought I would do it)!

I'm glad the kids had fun. When I told my kids we were going to breakfast with their cousin that just got released from her mission they were all over it. I thought they would be mad about not walking in the parade. They said it would have been too hot!! The float looks great!! Thanks for posting the pics. Congrats on you 100th post!!
Thanks for helping with the letters for the float. I really appreciate it. It's nice that we had people in the ward who were willing to come and help/serve. I didn't have to do everything on my own. Also, thanks for letting your kids come. I'm glad that they had a good time. Hopefully, they "walked" away with some good memories.
Your kids are cute. I hope they had fun walking in the parade. It will be a great memory that they keep with them forever.
The float looked great... and the pic of your baby olivia is just beautiful.
What a great experience for our kids, right?
The parade was great. Joshua loved walking in it. He was all so happy because his two best friends were walking with him. Christa you did a great job.
