Crazy Weekend

It was a CRAZY weekend. First--we had no Internet all weekend long. O.K.--we actually had it for 30 minutes on Saturday morning and then it was a goner. Qwest is getting an irate phone call from me today. Sorry about all of the posts that I missed but there are so many it would take me forever to catch up.

Second--I became an aunt on Friday night. My brother's wife gave birth to their 3rd girl at 10:54 p.m. She weighed 6lbs. and 12oz. and was 19" long. She was nameless until Sunday when they (finally) gave her the name Amelia Lina. She is BEAUTIFUL!!

Third--I have been super moody and ornery with my family because of the nervousness of my test I am having today. My appointment is at 9:30 and they will take me in, catheterize me and then they will pump saline into my bladder and make me cough and fun stuff like that so they can test the bladder. I am nervous to say the least. I have had a catheter on 3 other occasions--BUT I had had an epidural first. Wish me luck. I will try and catch up on your today's posts when I get home--promise I will!!

That darn Qwest! You are not the only blogger I have heard that has problems with them.

Congrats on becoming a new Aunt!

And last..but not least..Best of Luck today! I pray that all goes well, for your sake. I think any one of us would be nervous!

Good luck with the test. We had to do that with my littlest daughter when she was only 3. It was not fun. But then it's hard to explain all that's going on to a three year old. On top of that when it came time for her to empty her bladder she wouldn't do it. It was horrible. Not to scare you for your test because I'm sure it will be easier for you because you understand what's going on. Hopefully it won't be painful though.

I'm not kidding about this, just last night we saw some good friends of ours and they said that they really liked the name Amelia. If they ever have a girl, it's one of the top contenders for them.

I think it's time to just pull all new phone lines throughout your entire house. Or, Qwest needs to change the line coming into your house. I know that Ryan and Matt tried pulling a new line before, but I can't think of anything else that can be done. I mean, we're only 1 street over and we never have problems like this. I have no idea why we're so lucky. I'm sorry it's been so frustrating.

Okay, that makes me feel better about Comcast, they were only down for most of a day.
Congrats on Amelia, what a cute name.

Yep, lack of Internet would make me cranky too! Especially when we pay such large amounts of money to have it in our homes! Sorry to hear about your tests...that's enough to make everything be on one nerve. Congrats on being an aunt! Woot!
