I guess in back age I am about 82. I am walking around like this all day, trying to rub out the knots and ease the pain a smidge.

I guess it's time to buck up and call a Doctor or a Massage Therapist--I prefer the latter. I have to do something about this reoccurring problem. It's not going to go away it's self. This all stems from 3 pregnancies with mandatory bed rest. I was on bed rest a total of 3 months and 2 weeks--stupid Toxemia and PIH!! But I guess the 3 gems that I got after all of that torture were worth every minute and every back pain since (I guess--somedays. (0; O not so much yesterday. She was a little buggar and is very lucky her dad came home when he did)!!

Alas, I know all about the butt and back trouble. I've been having some pains in my own for the past couple of days. I'm back to walking a little like a playa pimp. Try calling Loretta to give you a massage.
I know what you mean about the little gems. The pain is worth it for what you get, but the pain is also a really good form of birth control too.
I'm supposed to be going to a physical therapist for my back pain.... And I'm 23 years old. That's what I get for being the boob nazi, I guess.
Ouch! i hope it feels better soon...call that massage therapist immediately!
It takes me a lot to go to the doctor. My back pain isn't nearly as severe as it used to be in college.
But when it hurts, it kills!
Sounds like you need to teach O a little massage therapy!
I hear you! Babies and backs are a tough combination. I had to go to the doctor in August because my foot was numb because of a pinched nerve in the rear. This kind of stuff makes me feel ancient. What happened to jumping off of playground equipment and not paying for it for the next month (or year)? To be young again. Hope you feel better soon!
Oh no! That's awful. I found chiropracters to be the best! But a massage would be great too! Hope you get to feeling better.
Hope you feel better soon! I have a delicious chiropractor that I see. He throws in a free massage every visit (get your mind out of the gutter ladies). I threw my neck out after a car accident and he fixed me right up.
Owie! Sorry.
Now you are justified in buying a new computer chair, or any other furniture that doesn't correspond with good posture!
I was on Vicodin & Flexeril for 3 months straight...along with 5 months of cervical traction when I hurt my neck. I suggest lots of heat & stretching. Also, the massage is a great idea!!!
my neck and shoulder are really aching, since my car accident. boo.
i hope your back is fixed soon!
LOL ... I've heard people talk about him before. LOL I walk like that too. GOOD. TIMES. I highly suggest a chiropractor. They'll take x-rays of your jacked up back (ahha ... I'm a poet and didn't even know it... BWAHAHAHAH THERE I GO AGAIN! LOL ... lol *ahem*) ANYWAYS ... they'll take x-rays and figure out what's messed up where and you'll probably hurt even more for a few adjustments and then .... THEN ... it's like HEAVEN! lol I go every two weeks. Sometimes more. The chiro I see is in my ward, so I practically live there. HAHAHA ... lol
you are so funny going back & forth between feeling bad and being optimistic. Hang in there and get one of those back pads.
I agree that a Chiropractor is the best solution. But you have to find one with a drop table. . They don't jerk your joints. After my little 10 pounder that was heaven, THEN have the massage! That’s the best!
Hope you feel better soon.♥
I was gonna say, "try a chiropractor, because that's exactly what they do, put your back back in place." But a lot of people already did.
So, try a chiropractor.
oh, not good. When your back is good and better (like you don't feel any twinges leaning over the tub) start with some pilates. Don't overdo it, but if you can strengthen your core muscles your back will be able to take so much more because your abs will be supporting it so much better. If you already have washboard abs...forgive me and totally ignore what I just said. I really hope you feel better soon. (and really, be sure not to try Pilates until you're totally healed from this episode, I made the mistake of trying to get back into pilates a little too early after throwing my back out and ended up hurting it again, but once I was totally better, I noticed it helped a TON)
I know how you feel. Maybe your legs are different sizes? ;) AND I truly heart chiropractors and massage therapists and now physical therapists too!
Good luck getting the problem figured out.
There's a certain kind of massage that'll put you back into alignment... I need to find the name of it, though.
I totally know who J.C. is on celeb rehab. His back is so messed up. poor man. Maybe you should just start doining cocaine. thats what he does to numb the pain!(I Hope you can hear the sarcasim in my voice)I am so addicted to anything that is reality T.V.!
If you feel how he looks you HAVE to BE in A LOT of PAIN!
I am so sorry!
If you don't mind the drive....come over. I'd work on you anytime ;-)
until then, take ibuprofen and lay on an ice pack. Avoid the heating pad! Trust me on this one, girl!
I was sorting a book order for my daughter's teacher on the school tile...I could barely stand up!!! I was like a 80 year old..hope the cameras didn't catch that in the hall!
-sandy toes
Well that really sucks! You need to get a massage tomorrow, so you don't miss the meet and greet!
Ew I am sad for you! back pain is the worst
I've had a lot of back pain too since I had my last baby, which was a c-section. The things we go through to bring these little guys into the world, right?!
I thought you were going to get a massage today... stop putting off YOUR needs girl!!!
I have scholiosis so I get back pain, the huge chest's Do NOT help either.
I sprained my back like my second year in community college...picking up a plastic tote (BIG) of my books from my room, I loved to rearrange ALL the time...mistake. I don't like massages because of the scholiosis I am so sensitive but my Chiropracter is good, and the warm vibrating thing on my back helps.
i feel the same way. I swear my body has been through a lot and it feels like it is 90 yrs. old.
I am so sorry about your back. Hopefully it is feeling better.
I have been thinking about the drain delema at your house. Get one of those big, round, flat, white, things that can be used as a plug if yours doesn't work and cover the drain with it. Maybe if it isn't glaring at her like an evil eye she won't be as bothered.
Just a thought.
I say go to the Chiropractor! If you find a good one - you will be amazed. I didn't like them before, but massage didn't work for me, so I decided to try the chiropractor then was amazed. I hope you feel better! And I'm sorry I'm going through and making all of your comments uneven... I have to catch up! And your blog is one I make sure I read all of the missed posts!
I have actually thought about finding a Chiropractor. I am going to ask around to find the best one!!
