Barbie Talk

H and O were sitting at the kitchen table, each with a Barbie in their hands. This is the Barbie talk that went on:

H: Hi. I'm Allison.
O: Hi. I'm Cindy.
H: What are you doing?
O: Oh my gosh!! That freaking boy just kissed me!! That is like so totally gross!!
H and Me: (Laughing our heads off)

Where did this kid come from?! (0:

Sadly, my Barbies liked each other WAAY too much. I think my mom had The Talk with me because of it.

Should I have confessed that yesterday on the secret post?

Too funny!! It amazes me what kids can come up with. My barbies were always used as captives or girlfriends for my brother's G.I.Joe's...they rarely had speaking parts...mainly crying.

hahaha I totally had the Ken and Barbie making out all the time.... Be grateful she's not there yet!

uh, I'm with Kristina above. My barbies weren't really rated for children once I was done with them! lol

How old is O again? That is hilarious! My 2 year old is usually making hers scream, "No! Don't! Time out!"

That is too darn cute! I love the "freaking boy" part! LOL!

Barbies say the funniest stuff!

I was updating my post (I hit publish before I was done..) when you came by for your visit. If you have a minute, can you swing back by? There's a little something sweet about you in my bloggy...I am still learning the etiquette of blogland where awards are concerned. I was checking on that when you came by...Anyhoo..thanks for always giving me a giggle!

Lara-
O is 3. She never ceases to amaze me with the things that she says (I am sure it comes from having an older brother and sister)!!

Dawn-
You are so great!! Thanks for the award!!

Haha! Too funny! Where do they come up with these things?

So funny! Hopefully she will feel that way until she's at least 25, right?

LOLOLOL. That's hilarious. Looking back, if my parents had seen what we had our barbies do, she would have had "the talk" with us as well. There were a lot of teenage barbie pregnancies. hahahaha.

Aww; I had to check, she's the one that looks like she's plotting in her picture. I should have guessed. :)

Praying she still feels that way 20 years from now! The Pea said "that scared the crap out of me" the other day and made us all glad we don't swear.

You won't be laughing anymore once they figure out that the kissing isn't gross after all, lol.

That is totally hilarious! Thanks for the laugh!

Odell makes me giggle. I want to meet her! But she probably would be a bit scared and wouldn't play barbies with me. Although, that's pretty much all I did growing up. I had a TON. My dad even built me a doll house of of plywood. haha, it was so big I would sit in the rooms. There were 5, and then one of my little sisters childhood friends came over and he climbed up on top (he wasn't the lightest thing) and it fell and completely flatted, kind of like an accordion.

I cried and because I was a bit older my dad just threw it out.

I swear. I swear. It's like she's being telepathicly beamed gossip girl or something.
That really seems like how that show goes.
Although I've only seen commercials.

O is so adorable. Ahhh it kills me how cute she is.

She is still so young to be playing barbies like that! She is so smart... I am sure seh heard it some where...Hummmm do you say that about her dad?

From the mouths of babes...

They really can say the greatest things!!

Isn't that exactly what little O should be saying? However, perhaps minus the valley girl accent? :)

I am never sure where my son comes up with some of the things that he says either. Sure does make for great blog posts though!

LOL, gotta love barbie talk. Once when my big girls were little, we had a rather uh..."vocal" nieghbor downstairs. (well, rather, the neighbor had a rather vocal overnight visitor) and one morning my girls barbies were making the same noises. Fortunately, it did not appear that the Barbies were engaged in any kind of similar activitiy.

Someone up farther on the comments said something about 'just wait till she finds out that kissing isn't gross."

Yeah. I CAN wait for that day and I don't wish it upon any parent!!

I love to hear kids play. What a crack up!

Michelle-
