Just Some Stuff

**My son Z got the opportunity to sing at Abravanel Hall last night. He was SO excited. His chorus group was the 5th out of 12 groups to sing and they did AMAZING!! Good job Z!! I am very proud of you!!

**I am going on a field trip with H and her Kindergarten class tomorrow to the Zoo. Wish me luck....I will also be taking O and then be in charge of a "small group of children".

**I had the opportunity to go to an AWESOME blog birthday lunch hosted by Me at An Eagle's View. I got to meet Me, Motherboard, Sher and So which was so exciting. They were all as AMAZING in person as they are on their blogs. I also got to catch up with Kristina, Jo and Amber. It was a great day!!

**We were in the bathroom ripping down some wallpaper when something (I can't remember what) happened that caused us (me, Matt and O) to kind of startle. O says, "Damn it!!" Matt says, "Hey, that is a bad word. Where did you hear it?" O lifts up her pointing finger and starts to point at me (I was not looking at her at that moment). I turn to look at her and she quickly puts her finger down and says, "Uuuummmm....from some big people." Matt tried REALLY hard not to laugh but couldn't hold it back--neither could I. I REALLY need to watch what I say----but it's SO hard!!

And the swearing story is hilarious!

I have a really hard time convincing my kids to not swear when I do it all the time. They like to call me on it too. Punks.

Why don't the kids ever repeat the good things we say?
When my daughter was 5, she called her brother an idiot. My husband got after her for it and wanted to know where she heard the word. She says, "That's what mom calls all the other drivers on the road"

It was great to finally meet you. You were one of my first bloggy friends!

You and I both need to watch our mouths. I have a post coming up in a few days where my kids are repeating things they shouldn't be hearing...oops.

Another real life blogger get together? That is so, so great. How fun to be able to connect with these women outside of the computer.

Is it OK if I am a tiny, tiny bit jealous? :)
