Count Your Blessings Name Them One By One
The kids went back to school today--YIPPEE, HOORAY!! I was counting down the days, hours and minutes this weekend. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my kids but the fighting and the I'm bored's and the whining and the tattle-telling was just about enough to send me over the edge. YEAH for structure and teachers and recess and school lunch!! YEAH for getting back to normal, more blog time, a schedule, and more blog time!!

LoL Glad to see that things are getting back to normal for ya! :)
See, this just means I might actually have to work today! Hopefully, the kids will be very well behaved from getting back from vacation, and they won't get into trouble.
Like the new layout!
Amen! Blessed are the teachers that get to deal with our children all day!
Hooray for you! Enjoy your quiet time. My little ones arent in school yet....so I can only imagine how nice your day is going.
Ah yes, there is a slight sigh of quiet contentment chez moi as well. Interrupted only by the tappity-tap of my laptop key board. It's good to be back.
Denise-
My middle child is only in Kindergarten so I have to pick her up in 1 hour and my youngest is here with me but I am SOOOO enjoying the quiet (for now at least)!!
My son's in kindergarten right now and my 3 year old is watching Word World. Ahhh, normalcy.
I COULD NOT wait until my daughter went back to school. She and my preschooler were fighting non-stop. HORRAY for fantastic teachers!
We just flew in last night and the kids are in school today! I wish they were still home. I wish we had time just our family. The holidays for us, since the begininng of us has always revolved around being with masses of people and not just "us". It is time for me to get the house done, which i'm not, diet which i sorta did and clean, which i'm not.
I hear ya!! The she did this and she did that and mom tell her to stop and I am bored...ugh!!!!! lol
haha, yay for you time! You deserve it.
My child is only in preschool and I am ready to get back to some normalcy as well.
My parents still have to deal with me for another week. I don't think my dad can handle it....
Yay for more blog time! I've missed you!
i hear ya! i'm celebrating as well! ;)
Yea for blogging!!!
Amen! I got so much done this morning with just one kid gone! Now my kindergartener is leaving and I hope to get double done! :)
I only have one child at home. The other three are at school, not fighting with each other.
It's really quiet around here.
I just gave you a blog award...check it out!!
I was so excited to have the boys go back to school. I thought that I would be able to have a nice, quiet, relaxing day. I've spent pretty much the entire day cleaning. So, much for the relaxing part.
SHeesh! I am still feeling like everything is out of sorts! I need to cean up all the Christmas decorations and get everything back in rder! SO much to do...A mothers work is never done. Right? Although I can feel that it is winding down and normalcy is very much in view!
I love to read your posts and look forward to seeing my friend everyday, again.
I meant clean...not cean... I wish the comment part of blogger had spell check! I do not have time to cut and paste every comment from word!!!! SHEEEESH!
OOOH---- LOOK I SPELLED ORDER WRONG TOO! Just shoot me NOW! I know how to spell those words.......... I am just trying to type faster than my brain! (eyes roll... frustration sets in!)
I am a much better momma when they are in school!

I'm sure my mom will be thinking the same thing in a couple weeks.

How awesome! Thanks for sharing!
may god bless you !
Wow, you're not kidding about being a good commenter. I hadn't even had a chance to read any of your posts yet. I saw you on Mary's Lemonade list and marked it for later. I know she's got good taste. :)
I can't say much since at this point I'm still on the other side of the whole back to school equation, but now that I'm home visiting from college Mom is like, "No! You can't leave yet! You just got here.
tattle telling, whining...wow..never have that here!!! HEE HEE!! I am ready for a bit of piece and quiet and not hearing "I am bored",too!

Oh my gosh, wasn't today the best??? Like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer, it just feels soooo good when you stop.
Love the new background and of course those pics of your beautiful kids. Glad you got your days back. I think the whole nations breathed a collective sigh of relief today as kids returned to school!
"I'm Booooooooooored"
I'm glad you have your sanity back!! I love the layout too :)
You know I have no kids, but I am happy they all went back too! Less kids at the movies on school nights, at stores during the day. Since I graduated I LOVE when kids are in school!
I'm glad you survived their time off. I know I barely did. I even got to go to work some of that time and I still went crazy.
I'm so happy for you! I don't have kids but I'm just gald to get back to normal!
Oh, and I forgot to tell you that your new background looks so cute! I love it with your kids pictures everywhere! Now, I'm hoping this is a new background....I might just be finally seeing it. Sorry!
Yesterday was great- and today I am actually digging out scrapbook stuff and making a page or two!
UN-interupted!!!!!
I need to go run, but blah blah blah...might as well do that when the kids get home!
Yeah, there's something to be said for getting back to a regular routine. I actually cleaned out the fridge, did a couple of batches of laundry and read. And my house stayed clean ALL DAY. But I still didn't want my kids to be back in school. I know. I'm weird.
My kids went back to school as well. Even better? My hubby went back to work. WOOT!!!
Shanna-
My hubby never really had time off (except Christmas Day). He had to work New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. BLAH!!
I am glad to be back at work too! I was getting a little stressed out being at home and spending money everytime I went to ran errands with my sister seemed that I had to buy something everytime we would stop at the stores.
