First Day

Here is my baby looking not so much like a baby anymore. Her first day of Preschool was September 8th. She was so excited and so ready. Me--not so much. I am happy to have 4 hours a week of free time to myself but she is my baby and I was hoping that she would stay that way for at least a few more years. Oh well--I guess we can't always get what we want huh?! Love you Leela (that is what she calls herself)!!

Where's her necklace?! She needs a necklace!

Just kidding. That's what she said to me a couple of weeks ago in Primary. I was sitting with her class and she wanted to sit on my lap. She turned her head around and said to me "you need a necklace." And then she grabbed my right hand (I was wearing that wood ring I got from Annette) and said "this ring doesn't match."

Such a girl! And so cute :)

Sweet, you get FOUR HOURS!! That is awesome, what are you going to do with yourself? I would love that right now. Sad at the same time, I bet it will be even harder when she goes to kindergarten.

OOPS--I forgot to add a week at the end of the 4 hours. I really only get 2 hours on Tues. and 2 hours on Thurs.

She looks so ready...I think it is easier when they want to go vs. when they cry b/c they don't want to. Either way, it would be hard to be the parent.

I keep looking at those photos and then at the one on your sidebar. She's about the same age as my youngest nephew. It's amazing how fast they get "all big".

Aww!! She looks very ready to start preschool. I am going to cry the day JAYSON starts school. I am afraid I will be the one crying and him pushing me out the door telling me "It's okay mommy you can leave now"
