Yup....I'm Alive

Well--I made it through the surgery. All went well--it only lasted about 1 hour and 45 minutes. I am feeling pretty good--other than the fact that I still have a catheter in. Re-training a bladder is a lot of work. My bladder has no sensations or feelings so I am trying to bring them back. It is getting better day by day. Hopefully by the end of the week the catheter can come out. I also found that it is IMPERATIVE to keep up on the pain meds--otherwise I am miserable. I can't sit here long--it's not to comfy so I am still not able to comment on your blogs--but I am reading them when possible. I again just wanted to thank you all for your love, prayers and support. I means the world to me. (0:

Glad to hear that your surgery went well and that you are getting better. Didn't you hear? Catheter's are the new handbag? They are so sexy ;) Hope you are feeling better soon. I know the surgery stinks, but the end result will be so much better than before. Get some rest and recuperate (and let your family spoil you silly).

Here's to a speedy recovery!!! So glad things are looking good so far.

Bladder control is highly overrated anyway -- don't you think? ;) Just kidding... good luck with the Kegal exercises!

So glad to hear all is well. Good luck on the bladder issue. I'm not a big fan of bladders. They seem to cause lots of trouble ...

So my son's teacher's name is Julene Cox, and I got an email about him today, and I was wondering why you would be asking about his school work. It seriously took me a full minute to reframe my thoughts.

Take your time convalescing. No one is going anywhere ...

Sometimes when I am watching LOST I wish I had a catheter in, but you kind of remind me it's not all good. Dang.

Get better quick! I am thinking of you!

Way to go Jillene! Yeah I hated the catheter, so uncomfortable! I was in such pain but the day they took it out, made me smile!!
