Saturday Morning Yardwork?!
Usually my kids get up on Saturday morning to watch cartoons. Well--not today!! We got up and went outside and did some MUCH NEEDED yard work. Oh wait--me, Matt, Zachary and Olivia went out and the sleepy head Hannah stayed in bed until 10:30 a.m. Yes, my 5 year old is like a teenager in every way!! When she finally joined us she was willing and eager to help (for a little bit). Pretty much the kids rode their bikes while Matt and I did the yard work. They will claim to anyone that asks that they worked their little butts off--but don't be fooled!! I had to leave to go to a Scentsy candle party at noon so I left Matt with the kids. He was extra brave and took them all to Home Depot with him (HeHeHeHe!! Welcome to my world!!) I am now home and will change my clothes so I can finish what we started. I am bound and determined to have a decent looking yard (see we have huge pine trees in the front and the acid in the pine needles kills everything-including the grass) so I vow to you all here and now that I will do all I can to help the movement go forward!! GO YARD WORK!!

Your yard is looking good so far. I'm sure that they ivy will really add to it. We plan on painting the exterior of our house very soon. We're on the lookout for a power washer to clean the filthy thing first. So, if you know anyone who has one, send them our way. I'm not planting anything in my ugly flower bed until the painting is done. What would be the point? Everything would get trampled when we painted. I'll just be sticking to a couple of pots for now.
