Swab the "Deck" Me Hearties!!
Oh boy! Oh boy! I almost have a finished deck in the back yard!! It is a down right miracle!! Oh, and it looks GREAT too!! I am soooo excited that we can finally go out the back doors and onto a NICE deck and actually walk down stairs and not have to jump off to the ground!! Now I can have backyard barbecues and actually invite friends over and not be embarrassed about the yard. I am so proud of Matt. He is such a handy guy. He has done all of the work by himself (with the exception of a little hand here and there from myself and Zachary). I even think we are going to buy a patio set today! Hooray for me!!!! (Wow--I am this excited over a deck and a patio set. You can tell I am an adult now because this NEVER would have excited me 12 years ago!) I also bought Matt a new barbecue for Father's Day (yes I gave it to him a few weeks early but it looks great on my new deck!!). Oh Happy Day!!!!

Isn't it funny what we get excited over now as adults. I'd love a patio set, but want to create a better patio to put it on first. I'm glad that your yard is coming together. When's the first BBQ?
