"Don't Call It A Comeback"......Hodgepodge

Well--here I am. Again. Trying to ease myself back into the blog world. I feel like it's time and that I am ready. I probably won't be on here everyday or comment on every post you write but hey--it's a beginning. I really tried to come back in November but it was a fake out--you know the kind like where you tell your kids to clean the toy room and they say it's all clean thinking that you won't go and check but you do and it looks the same as it did 6 hours ago?! Yeah--it was that kind. Sorry about that.
********************************************************************************
I woke up at 1:30am having a panic attack. See I forgot to call the Jury Duty hot line. I woke up sweating buckets, heart racing and in a panic. I hurried and called the number and luckily my number didn't come up--yet. I still have two more days to worry about.
********************************************************************************
Do your kids forget that they have plates and a table to eat over?! I feel like I am sweeping the floor 3 times a day. A little frustrating. Do they also forget that you have a garbage can that can actually hold garbage?! Yeah--mine too.
********************************************************************************
As for my title--if you don't recognize it--they are lyrics to an LL Cool J song called Mama Said Knock you Out. Google it. Well--here's to dipping my toes into the blog world again. I am looking forward to catching up with you all.

Jury duty is the worst. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you don't have to go in at all.

Welcome back! And my suggestion about the floor? Get a dog. Although then you might have *other* messes to clean up...

Welcome back!! My husband is the one that doesn't understand the garbage can concept...I'm forever picking up dirty paper towels & soda bottles/cans. And, that if the dishwasher isn't full yet, the immense task of putting your dirty dish in it, seems to be beyond him & my 18 yr old SIL.

Nice to see you out and about in the blog world again! It was nice meeting you a while ago, we should do that again.

Yay! Good to see you back. I've only been on marginally and haven't really been that great in reading other peoples blogs. I'm hoping to get back on that train.

And I'm pretty sure no one but me knows how to throw things into the garbage around here.

Very happy to see you back, and I totally get finding a good balance with blogging. I'm working on it now.

I have never even been sent a jury duty notice. Weird.

And, yeah, nobody in my house seems to have a need to keep any part of it clean but me.

I've been missing you!

I make my kids use our dirt devil every evening after dinner to clean up the crumbs from the day. They probably SHOULD use it after every meal, but beggars can't be choosers!

Welcome back, by the way :)

I am glad you are back. My kids think eating while walking around the house is the thing to do! grrrr!

Feel lucky that you have a floor to sweep. The people that built our house put carpet in the dining room. Nasty!

You my dear are looking beautiful. Good to see you. It has been too long. I love your post today. I am feeling you sister.

Check if you can see the pictures now. I reposted a different way of uploading. I was being lazy before. You are welcome to copy it and send along to your friends. We women have to stick it together.

hugs. in time out!

I guess I have been lucky enough not to ever serve. I been called many times, but never actually go to trial. Perhaps you will have a quiet day that you can use to catch up on some reading— that's what I tend to do.

Hi!!!
I dont mind sweeping my floor but I hate mopping it. And my kids apparently are like yours and don't know how to keep their food over the plate/table. Luckily my hubby trades me bathrooms or dishes for mopping the floor any time. Haha
