Leaving And The Eyes of Sauron

My mom and dad are leaving on Monday morning for a MONTH. They rented a condo in Mesquite, NV and will be gone for a MONTH. I have mixed feelings about this. On the plus side--they have both retired and it is great that they can get away together and get out of the cold weather. On the minus side--my mom has become like a best friend to me. I talk to her everyday and I see her at least once or twice a week. I think I am really going to miss them.

What the heck is up with my face?! I have NEVER had this many zits in my life!! I look like I have Eyes of Sauron all over my face--so watch out. They are ALWAYS watching. I think my hormones are still out of whack or something. I have 2 HUGE ones on my chin, several on my forehead, and LOTS in my hairline. GROSS. GROSS. I am disgusted when I look in the mirror. BELCH. Kind of a blow to the self esteem. I guess this too shall pass--but it better hurry up because I am tired of it. I thought 37 year olds weren't supposed to get zits anymore. I guess that's what I get for thinking.

I have the same problem. Perfect skin as a teenager, but I hit thirty and my face is a mess. I keep thinking it's just stress, but it has been almost 4 years and if it's stress, it is permanent stress.

Hey, Mesquite is practically a hop, skip and a jump away from my house. If/when you go to visit them, stop by my house for a bathroom break!

Sorry about the zit thing. My first trimester I totally broke out too. Life is so unfair sometimes.

I've been breaking out like crAzy too. It's not pretty.

I seem to get them at my hairline too and I often wonder if it's from my hair straightening product. :(

I hope your parents have a good time!

It is SO great to have you back!

Ugh. I hate zits. And I wish I could be like your parents and go away to somewhere warm for a month.

I wish I didn't have zits. They're really embarrassing.

That is awesome that your parents get to go and spend some time together.

And my zits are congregating on my neck. I hate that.

I hope that you get the chance to go spend a week down in Mesquite.

The dry weather will totally help the zits, too. :)

I'm 35 and I am always breaking out, totally hormonal but totally ANNOYING!

Im zitty now too and never was. Mine is totally hormonal--I can tell when I have forgotten a BC pill because I break out immediately. Take it and they are gone in hours

In junior high and high school I NEVER had zits. Maybe one or two a month maybe. But now? Now I get 'em all the time. I totally don't get it.

Wow, twice in two days. Do you really like blogging again? Cool.
I was confused by your title, I was expecting a post about a friend that used to call you Jilly-enn. (you know the one with the cutest boys room EVER!) I'll leave it at that since I don't know who reads your blog.
