Saturday we had Z's Birthday Party. He opted to have it at Nickelmania--which was FINE with me. That meant that I didn't have to clean my house, I didn't have to have 12 kids running around in my house, and I didn't have to clean my house after. WHOO HOO!! We had to have it early this year because of my husbands work schedule--Z didn't mind at all!! (0; He invited his good friends, we had pizza and drinks. They got to play video games for 2 hours. And then for his cake we had--------donuts. This kid doesn't like cake. I have NO idea where he came from. I will be posting on Wednesday (his actual Birthday) with his birth story. I am still in shock that I will have a 10 year old in 2 days. Where does the time go?

We have the best gourmet donut place down the street from my work, which opened up about a month ago.

Thanks again for inviting us. My kids had a great time. Even Cameron. Aside from his usual, predictable moment of anxiety, but that happens everywhere we go.
we usually do pie or some alternate desert for birthday..cheese cake is something everyone likes.. my family doesn't like much.

I KNOW!! He won't eat cake, or brownies or cupcakes. At my mom's yesterday we had ice cream sundaes and had to put a candle in his scoop of ice cream. CRAZY!!

Happy Early B-day Z!! I had doughnuts for my b-day cake a few times when I was a kid...I have no clue why. Though when Sam was a baby she did THROW her head and face into my cake and ruin the whole thing. My poor cake!!:)

I WISH I didn't like doughnuts. That is such a great idea. You could even stack them up and make a layered doughnut cake. You've got my cooking mind going here.

Hey Jillene we didn't forget about Z's birthday...life just got in the way. Tanner keeps reminding me...so maybe he'll just be celebrating long after the day is gone :)
