Sharing To All The World

Today in Sacrament meeting we had the 2nd counselor in the Stake Presidency speak to us. He really is an amazing man. He talked about how often you hear bad or negative things about our LDS religion. He challenged each one of us to stand up and be proud of the things that we believe in. He talked about how cool it would be if LDS people would tape themselves bearing their testimony and put it on You Tube. I am not going to put a tape on You Tube but I figure that I can bear my testimony on my blog.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know with all of my heart that it is the only true and living church here on the earth. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who knows me personally. He hears and answers my prayers and I know that He loves me unconditionally. I know that His Son, my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ lives. I know that the Savior suffered in the garden and took upon Him all of the sins, pains and sufferings of each one of us. He gave up his life and after 3 days was Resurrected. I know that if I strive to do what is right, because of Jesus Christ, I can live with my Father in Heaven again. I know that families are forever and that through the sealing power of the priesthood I can be with my family for all eternity. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I am so grateful for all of the trials and sacrifices he had to endure to restore the church and to translate the Book of Mormon. I know that the book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the true and living Prophet today. I am forever grateful for all of the blessings that living this gospel brings into my life. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Your testimony is very sweet and touching. I really don't bear mine often enough. I truly can't remember the last time I actually did in church.

I'm just trying to remember to read my scriptures and say my prayers everyday.

I love when the Stake Presidency talks. They are such spiritual giants. Would have been better than falling at the pool. Oh well. Thanks for sharing your testimony.

The 20th works for her too. We were thinking we could meet at Chili's on 4th South. Would that be o.k. If so, what time?
